The Mothers Day Gift:
Barbara's Letter
"We had a barrage of tragedies one after another. The first was a
terrible auto accident that I was involved in, then a traumatic
amputation to the end of my index finger (Friday the 13th!), my
finance's new wood shop that he had built essentially by himself
burned to the ground (He lost everything- equipment, things that
he had been collecting over the years for both his furniture business
and to restore an old farmhouse, no insurance, estimated financial
loss of over $180,000), and our wedding had to be postponed so that
we could place emphasis on rebuilding and continue with his
livelihood- furniture making.
Thank you for sharing this with me. You have helped me to understand
what the "good" was in my fiancé and my having 10 continual months
of ongoing tragedy and pain. I am encouraged. God Bless you."

"The Lord led me to this book for a reason and I so desperately want to
continue on this journey. It took me awhile to read your book after I
got it and was unable to put it down once I started."

The Mothers Day Gift:
Cynthia's Letter
"Thank you so much for sending me 'The Making of the Wealthy Soul.' I can see
that it is indeed inspired writing. It seems to get better with each reading!
I love your idea of the importance of tiny decisions making the big ones easier.
And, your sentence "The key to balance is to have a spark but not be wired" is
destined to be quoted over and over.
For me, Della Reese is the most powerful example of a Wealthy Soul in the booklet.
Her incorporation of God, vision, and balance seems to hit every part of the Wealthy
Soul concept.
I like your incorporation of 'Intersecting Paths' and 'Vision as Life's Work'
as the culmination of the booklet. For me, an access to God is through other
people. Being somewhat of an introvert, it helps me to remember that the first
thing I need to do to stay balanced is to GIVE - that puts me in the active mode
and in relationship with others.
I continue to believe that you have special and unique gifts for the world,
and wish you all the best on your journey!"
